I Finally took a toned picture!!

Finally, I took a picture that actually looks like the coin! It's a 1958 D graded MS65 by NGC.

    Cool...a toned Washington thread! Nice coin and nice pic. Just got back the first raw Washington I've ever submitted myself, but I've had some experience getting toned pics right with Jeffersons before:

    Good picture MD. I have that problem trying to get the white spot from the light to go away without losing color too.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    I have this coin on the way to PCGS right now. The pic stinks, the toning has a lot more green/purple than I was able to capture. On the obverse you can see some letters from the envelope it was stored in backwards in the toning.

    Hi Micheal,

    Nice shot! You might try a diffuser in between your light source and the subject coin. It will prevent that white glare at the top of the image.
