Jefferson nickel question

Is there any value to the 1990-P variety without the designer's (FS) initials? I was going through my stash and found an old 2x2 holder with that attribute scribbled on it. It was found in change, so I didn't blow any big bucks.

    Don't know. Was the missing initials a result of a mistake in the design or just a clogged die?
