Only this time, it's called "Sports Collectors' Dimension"....
1964 Mantle SCD 9
<< <i>Card measures perfectly 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 so I can asure you it is not trimmed >>
That statement, the great brand name of "Sports Collector's Dimension, and the private feedback make me feel very "asured".

Clever to use a reputable acronym. So what's next -- PSA 9 (Plastic Slab Association) ?
WOW and 27 exclamation points, private auction, 7 feedback seller that in his description swears the card is not trimmed. NO ONE bid.
Can you blame them?
<< <i>I only accept Money orders and cashiers checks as payment. >>
"razer sharp corners" and "This card is sure to make your collection a cut above"
priceless
And if there is, did the owner of the company start the company himself so he could insert his owned trimmed cards.
Once upon a time, I went to the "big show" in Pittsburgh. Hundreds and hundreds of dealers. This one dealer had a '58 Mantle, '55 Clemente, etc. and I wanted them in the worst way. So, I pulled out my brief case and my Jordan rookie, and a handful of Marino rookies, and a bunch of Montana rookies and made the trade on one condition . . . I could have several of the other dealers check out the cards to ensure they were legit . . . off to the other dealers: 707, Mr. Mint, Shoebox, Greg Bussineau, etc. And all of them measured them and said, "Looks great." I made such a good trade. Off to PSA the two cards went and back they came, "Evidence trimmed."
Yep, $3000 mistake.
I'll learn someday.
Just got an email from his today:
<< <i>Mike I still have the scd 9 mantle for sale let me know if you are interested. I can asure you 110% it is not trimmed guaranteed. I can give a god deal on it >>
Does this mean if I don't want it...he is going to give God a deal on the card?
