Newp: 1873 3-Cent Nickel w/Color

Picked this up at the post office today. My eighth 3-center for my MS62-63 set. This one has some lovely subtle color if you hold it just right, that I tried to capture. (I don't know how you guys do it!)

I think you picked up the color on that very nicely. Great looking coin! I can't see the justification for only a 63.

Sure.....But good thing I wasn't paying for film. I'd be broke now.

I think the grade is driven by the strike more than anything else. Plus a couple of specks visible in the pic...on the bow, and near the rim. (Reverse is pretty clean too, but I didn't image it).

To be honest, I'm used to MS-63 3centers that look better than expected. My experience is that the services are fairly tough on them compared to dimes and other coins of similar size.
