How long is the oldest friendship here?

An old friend of mine, Ukiah, recently started posting here, and it occurred to me that I've known him for 24 years! (Maybe more, actually. Those drunken college days are kind of hazy.) Has anyone else here known a fellow board member that long--excluding relatives?

I have known Snakedr, who is an infrequent poster here for about as long. In fact he posts so infrequently that may not be the exact correct spelling of his handle. I met him through the hobby through an SCD ad about 81 or 82. Have spoken with him numerous times over the years and even lost touch with him once but found him through the boards here. His handle was the give away. It had to be him.
In all that time and through all those talks and packages, I have met him face to face once. It was at a National in the Atlanta in the 90's. Great guy and I am better off for having known him.

Machodoc and I attended West Virginia University from 1977-1981 and we even lived in the same dorm our freshman year. Unfortunately we never formerly met, but in all probability we probably passed each other on campus many times over that 4 year period.
