Oddball Mainstream...Not an Oxymoron

I thought I would have a little fun with the $5.00 special. So I submitted a few Oddball cards from mainstream sets.

Here are a few examples:

    Carlos,

I submitted the flag to PSA also - sent in among a 122 card submission on 11/26 - still waiting for my grades to post. I'll keep you updated - I'm hoping for a PSA 10 on it!

  • Hey Carlos

Haven't seen you in a long time, I was wondering how are you feeling these days? How's the operation?
I hope all is going well with you and your family. Your still in our prayers!

  • Hey Carlos... Hope you are well. Awesome submissions... do you still collect basketaball?
Isn't it amazing how inexpensive psa 8's are from the 70's on eBay?
You, factorjim, jenkind and I would bid psa 8 70's commons up to $40, $60 and $80... that now go for $5-$10...
You got out and upgraded just in time... I was a litle late...
anyways, hope you are well and love seeing your posts...

    Jery & Geoff,

I have been feeling a lot better lately, thanks for asking. Two days before the National (in Cleveland) my doctor told me that I was having horrible side effects from my medication. She immediately took me off the drug “Targretin”. I never knew how I was being affected until I was off the medicine for about three weeks.

Now I take mild doses of “Methotrexate” once a week. The day after is rough but I feel much better throughout the week. The Cancer is not in remission but it is under control and not spreading.

I still read the boards but I don’t post as much as I use to. I guess some of the issues that were worth fighting for don’t seem as important anymore. Occasionally I will chime in but never on a controversial issue.

    Carlos
