Anyone know about this coin, die break off the S on reverse



Its on the fleabay, I emailed seller and he said its a a break not a scratch. He said it was raised.
I couldnt find any info of this crack so if anyone has any please let me know. Thanks!

Just be careful that they have a return policy.... Can't tell you how many coins I've returned after the seller told me it was a die breeak.....

Is there any way you could talk him into a close up of the break? Something about it just doesn't look right to me....maybe too straight?

I don't know what the price is (was), but I like it. I enlarged it a few thousand times... the line goes to the right of the F in OF, but doesn't look like it goes on top of the F (like a scratch). Looks like a break or a long die gouge.

He's got to be joking. It would take me less than a minute to do a blowup of that area. I'd pass on it with his attitude.

I told him thats poor business...he didnt really approve....

I do think it would be an interesting coin to own though, but I wont give him any money.

Reminds me of the "no reverse image is available" response I got recently. I still bid on the coin, but if he'd sent a reverse image and it looked like the obverse, he'd have made more money because I'd have bid about double what I did. There were three snipers at the end, and I lost.
