Does anyone know about the American Revolution bicentenial medals?
I bought a box of mixed commems, and there were a buch of these in there.
They look like US Mint issues, Bronze medals, slightly smaller than Silver Dollar size, encapsulated in a box similar to the early 70 proof sets. They cary a P mint mark.
Also I have some silver looking metals in a nicer fake leather/velvet lined box.
I have many duplicates that some others are interested in, I don't want to rip them off, or short myself.
Thanks

at least scarce. There are silver examples issued in a box which are, if mem-
ory serves, a little more than 18 pennyweight of sterling silver (~.9 OZt X .925)
There are other governmint issue medals for the bicentennial including repro-
ductions of early medals and gold medals. There are thousands of privately
issued tokens and medals. A set of bicentennial issues would be massive.

Don't mean to pooh-pooh your material. That's all they've ever been to me......

some way that has a variety.
These sell for $1.25 each wholesale on the rare occasion that you can find
a wholesale buyer. The silver issues are less frequently seen but by medal
standards are also extremely common and generally sell for spot.
