I still don't know what this is image
It is the size of a U.S. silver dollar.
Local coin shop said it is silver...but I think I see some brass tones image
It is heavier than a clad U.S. dollar

    It was found with a metal detector.
    Place: Channel Island Harbor, Oxnard, CA.

    We had a LOW tide -1.2
    It was in mud about 2 inches deep.
