If anything, I would wait until next year when the Buffalo nickel comes out. Now that set will put the other sets to shame. Anything with a Buffalo on it will be an immediate success. I mean this year. Duh. I'm still in the past.
Wasnt the "medal" already in the COin and Currancy sets and if so all 4 of these coins can be had without this set. There is nothing in this set we have not seen before correct?

I plan to hold on to at least a couple of them until approx. 2008 when nickel goes back to basics - even if new design. By then all of the other nickels won't be so - so - what's the word? ok, I know better than to ask a leading question in this place. Never mind.
I heard that the reason the orders were being taken a month before product ships is that the nickels and the Sackie will be ultra-high relief deep cameo matte finish. The mint didn't want employees to tip off anyone outside the mint with "insider information" about the rarity of these pieces, so they sold them first, of course expecting them to sell out completely, but planning to stop the sale prior to minting in the event that the run 25,000 piece run didn't sell out.
Anyone else hear otherwise?
