Some mutt just bid $6990 on a 1928 MS66 Saint in the upcoming Heritage Auction.
Not a 67 but a 66. Are you kidding me???????
I had my eye on this coin and was going to have a dealer bid on it for me
but this is outrageous. I do not believe that a common date 66 Saint has EVER sold
for even half that amount. I hope that the grading services keep it a 66 and He/She
loses His or Her ass. It has becoming increasingly difficult to buy PQ coins from dealers
recently and now apparently the same holds true at auctions.

Are you pi$$ed because someone else is gonna have that coin, and not you? Really. So, someone is willing to pay that amount for that coin, so what?
