Is this caused by a grease filled die? It's out of an 66 SMS set. I have two sets that look like this. Just wondering

    I looks like a little grease was in the die to me, but I'm a newby. There is a photo that resembles this in the Morgan and Peace Dollar Vam Encyclopedia by Van Allen and Mallis. You might want to do a search right now on ebay item 3936673377. The ebay sellers has this item and others presently listed with grease errors so you can compare them.

    If I only had a dollar for every VAM I have...err...nevermind...I do!! image
