mrearlygold (and his offerings) must be more important than the rest of us.
For, he has apparently decided he need not abide by the long established and often repeated forum guidelines of one TTT per day. He has chosen on multiple occasions recently, to ignore those guidelines at the expense of others' threads.
Edited to add: I promise not to TTT this thread more than once per day.

Just admitting that some of you are more important than others is the first step to recovery.
Come to our monday night meeting and please......................

I do believe you.
Just curious - it seems that adding more coins to the one and only allowed thread would be - allowed?
Once you decide to list - it is a very time consuming job to scan/upload/etc.......... and it generally is done in 'spurts'. It generally is not all done at once. I don't see why all the complaining - it's not like the guy has truly abused his privileges, but just adding to his ONE list - LIKE he is supposed to do!?
And, for those who like to see such forum guidelines in writing: link
Pretty clear to me.
Replying to Thread: In case you didn't already know it, some of us are more important than others around here...

Not sure whether this was the desired effect of your thread, but it kinda made me want to go and LOOK at his thread!!

But, some members, as Mark posted, do believe they are much better than the rest of the people posting.
If you happen to read threads on the USCoin Forum, you can see in writing, a few weeks back, where a certain thread originator (not Mark), stated how much better he is than another because of the "circles" he runs in (ie...the rich/high class crowd)
btw...I felt like TTTing on this thread
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
....and in case anyone was wondering, that WASN'T me! Call me paranoid.
Though I only broke this rule once that I am aware of, ever since Mr Feld advised me of the 24 hour rule I FULLY intend to abide by it.

Anyway boys and girls, last night was quite a sale! Early gold was virtually untouchable and the nicer specimens went for sky high money at ANR. CC type went into the outer limits. Watch for updates on new thread hopefully later tonight. And stay happy huh? There's always circ roosevelts for you.

Tom,
Whether or not Feld is a competent numismatist or dealer is immaterial to the message he is trying to deliver: that there is a written rule around here regarding conduct. If you disagree with that, fine. But, let's try to keep this topical, ok?
In the spirit of fairness, Mark, perhaps it would be more appropriate for you not to accuse Tom of self-importance. Simply point out that he is unapologetic in his violation of a rule of conduct here is sufficient.
Regards,
EVP

You and I have since made amends on our disagreements but the response that you threw at Mark is the kind of elitist remark that has always made me leary of dealing with you.
And, last time I checked, Mark has his own business. Give him a break and just follow the rules. There is no need for a war over this.
You and Mark represent different entities in this business. You are a definite retailer of coins. Mark is more of a wholesaler, which just happens to be where I like to operate as well.
Here is a good joke to add some levity to the situation and it is coin related. Take it with a grain of salt.
What is the difference between a coin wholesaler and a retailer?
A wholesaler has a conscience...

We spent 5 consecutive days scanning and uploading photos of great coins on our website. I updated as they were uploaded. I haven't done that before. If in fact I bent the rule of the bst forum, anyone could have simply pm'd me and that would have been that. There certainly was no reason to be as disrespectful as starting of an entirely new thread with a title such as this one.
Far as feld having a business, well congratulations. Let's see the status of that in time.
Far as me being an elitist. Call it whatever you like but with the type of material I specialize in and have specialized in for many years, I choose who to do business with every bit as much as a customer has the choice of who he does business with. It's a mutual agreement in business or it's no business at all. I'm not open to the public per se and definitely don't subscribe to the theory that I must do business with everyone. Just as the material I've handled over the years is special, so are my customers special. I'm not saying you aren't special either John so don't get psycho ok? You and I didn't bond at that time.

In my life, I have met people who openly defy established rules.
They respond to pleas for right acting with righteous indignation, while Refusing to acknowledge that they don't play fair.
You know the type. Those that constantly seek to acquire, rather than give. Shall I go on.
I just have a hard time with that mind set. I usually avoid those people.
I'm trying to sell stuff. I'd like a fair chance at getting it viewed, rather than being pushed into oblivion by people with a thread per coin, or who are so anxious to sell, they step all over people.
But, A thought I posted in another thread. Sometimes people answer questions, or update, or other people ttt the thread at an inopportune time. how do we handle that?

Well said. Some people just don't "get it".
