Better late than never. . .Pics of the Lynchburg Coin Club 2nd Annual Christmas Dinner

The Lynchburg, VA Coin Club held its 2nd annual Christmas Dinner at the Golden Corral on Wards Rd on 20 Dec 2004. The Lynchburg Coin Club has ~50 paid up members and attendance runs about 25-30 at each meeting. I know it isn't much compared to some of you large city club members but we're proud of our club. image We had our first VNA sponsored show this past summer and we hope to continue with a decent sized show every year.

I thought the show went well as did a number of other collectors. I ran out of money before I got around to all the tables. Lots of fresh material (I'm getting tired of looking at the same old stuff at the local shows). The floor was a bit cramped but I think there was upwards 75 tables. We got a promoter from NC to help organize the thing and bring in other dealers. Now, asking the dealers, you might get a different opinion, but then again I haven't been to any local show yet where the dealers didn't complain.
