Working without a catalog, they sound like:

1: A 5 peseta coin from Spain, the guy is Franciso Franco. 1957 is the first year of the type, the actual year or mintage will be inside of a little star.

    2: Switzerland 10 rappen.

    3: Another coin from Spain.

4: Probably Egypt, several Arabic digits often look like backwards sevens. The dam is most likely the Aswan High, Egypt struck many coins to commemorate controling the Nile.

The first 3 are common, the last may be a better coin.

    Thanks for the info

I'm down to about 5 or 6 more coins to identify now.

If anyone has any more info about the egyptian coin please post. I am curious about that one, because it is in pretty good condition.

    Thanks again

Can you post a picture of the Egyptian coin? If so, I can read the legend for you and definitively identify it. image
  • #4 would be from Syria, either a 25 or 50 piastres or 1 Pound coin, dated in Arabic 1976-1376 , commemorating the Euphrates Dam project and the U.N.'s FAO program. The denomination in Arabic numerals is above the dam or can also be determined by the size of the coin.

    awesome

thank you so much for the precise answer

I was browsing your web page and found a coin similar to another of the ones i need identifing.
It looks similar to the one you have labeled(israeli peace token??)
    its gold in color
in the location of the fern there is instead 3 round objects on a stem(grapes, olives, cherries??)
on the other side of the coin there is the number 5 in place of the 1
and there are two lines of text under neath it.
