I have been reading the U.S. Coin Forums for some time now, but finally decided to join. I first started collecting coins in the early sixties, as a kid, and picked up again around 6 years ago. At first I started out slow, mint sets, proof sets, etc., then started to complete sets. After completing a bunch of sets in BU, Washington quarters, Roosevelt dimes, Franklin halves, I decided to concentrate on keys and semi keys of various series. Lately, I have been interested in the Barber series, mainly quarters and halves, and find collecting them, (in original, nice condition), to be very challenging. In fact, from reading these forums I have learned quite a bit about Barber coinage.

Like you said, the Barber series of quarters and halves is very challenging. Sounds like you are up to the task though. Good luck.
