removed stars from wax packs ?

link

Is it me or is this seller telling you that these were opened prior to him buying them and since than he reopened and took out others. Now would that not mean that these packs will be short cards and if not did he replace them with others to get the counts right??????????????image

I think he's saying that when he opened the two boxes to build his set, he was able to pull major stars from those packs. I'd ask him for clarification though before bidding. Although he may have pulled major stars, it's doubtful that the packs contained rookies or other hot players at the time the packs were searched (packs might have Bench, Morgan, Schmidt and not Murphy, Dawson, Brett).
  • I would stay far away from this auction. His most recent negative feedback is for selling different resealed wax packs.
I am working on PSA baseball sets in 8 or better from 1973 thru 1976. Also Mike Schmidt & Pete Rose sets.

I read this earlier in the week on his 74 packs, seems to me he is covering his a$$. if you want to have fun , spend $30 and see what you get but I would do it assuming that you are buying $30 in scratch tickets and the most you will get back is $4. then you won't be pi$$ed when you open your packs and don't get anything.
  • <It appears these were resealed prior to my buying them. However they contain pack fresh nm-mt cards. I'm not sure if any of the cards were even removed as I pulled all of the major stars>

He is saying they looked like they were resealed prior to him, and that he pulled all the stars from the ones he opened. Not that one wouldn't find any more star cards, but why wouldn't they have been pulled if someone searched and resealed the packs. Either way, i wouldn't bid.
