I've seen several references to "sniping." Would someone kindly define this practice for me? Again, I'm still fairly new to these boards. Thank you.

I'm hooked, and will never bid the traditional way ever again.
Everyday I look and search on Ebay for stuff I need/want.
Auctions may end 6 days from now. I just type in the item #
and my max bid into my sniper (I use auctionsniper.com) and they
bid for me within the last 5 seconds.
