That's a neat gift to get. Looks like a lower MS PL. Too bad for some of the deep marks on the cheek, or it would have been a really pricey coin.

That's part of the problem with my photo equipment/skills Eric. In hand those marks or very slight but in my pics thay look like the Grand Canyon. And these two were the best of about ten I took, might have something to do with useing the zoom feature of the camera.

Xerox the obverse of the coin at same size and then show her the die clash marks on the top left edge of the right wreath top. And explain how it happened, they line up, etc. It makes the coin very special. She will be interested, trust me.
