Barry, if they are within the guidelines Carol set, they shouldn't be a problem on a dialup. I think mine is under 20k. I'm surprised you're using dialup at work. Is there a problem with your building getting DSL?

Yes, Eric. The CO must be too far away. I've checked and no DSL is available in my office complex.

That's surprising for up there. We battled Verizon for six months after they deployed DSL in this county, and as it turns out people here still can't get it because they refuse to install a DSLAM in our remote terminal. Fortunately for us Adelphia upgraded this entire county, so I went with them, and it has been very reliable.

I don't mind the big sig's except when I use a PDA to surf. 5 miles of scrolling for a couple lines of text. I could turn pics off but then I'd miss the coins in question, which is why I'm here.
