What's Going On? One of the Forums' favorite AT sellers is providing full disclosure!!

All the coins not in TPG holders are described as being AT!! Did someone "reform" this guy?

At first, I thought maybe someone hacked his account and added that image

Looks like he might be trying something new (honesty...for a power seller) and he is still getting bids (having only checked out some of his auctions, I don't know if they are inline with what he was getting without calling them AT or whatnot...

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I'm more disappointed about that half getting into an ANACS slab image

Now if he'll just call the "AU" AT coins AU instead of BU, we might have some real "truth in advertising" image

Ahh Eric, another of the old snide remarks by someone who can't tell the real thing from the AT'd stuff - he probably knows more than you - he can tell the difference - you have a bit of trouble in that department - I seem to remember that you were absolutely sure that fountinheadgold's ebay purchase would never slab - guess NGC doesn't know "squat" either.

He's probably made so much money and realized how dumb people actually are that he figured it doesn't matter.

Hmmm - do you think maybe he means "Much prettier"? image

Color kinda jumps right out at you on that one - thank maybe ANACS "missed" something on that one?? image

  • Well Well. He took a $15 or less 1900 Morgan, colored it, and now it's bid to $30 plus $4.50 shipping/insurance. Actaully

a nice markup depending on what his time is worth.

Some of his AT modern commems are rather striking, though! If you discount all numistic value from them, that is.

I have noticed lately that some sellers are noting AT and their prices do not suffer, so why not admit it?

  • Regardless of being AT, those raw coins he has are quite appealing.image Shipping is a bit much though.

I guess he's worried some buyer will AT his AT'd coins. image

Here's a statement sure to inflame everyone here... In my humble opinion, all toning is artificial. That which occured through bad storage is still artificial in my book. What's important is whether the coin is beautiful or not. OK, let the beatings commence! image
