lower turn around time tor PCGS ?

Do you think the higher fees and submission rules will improve the turn around time ? (ie less submissions) if so I am all for it.

Pay more money for something you should be receiving anyway? Hardly a great business model. Coin market still booming, thankfully for PCGS.
  • With the screws down, increased cost, yes turn around will be better since there will be less coins sent in.

I doubt will see much, if any improvement. Raising prices does nothing to solve the systemic and organization issues which are the main cause of the problem.

Nope. If $2 is going to make the determination on wheather a coin is submitted or not, it's probably not worth submitting. An exception is when a collector want his favorites slabbed, reguardless of value. If that's the case, is $2 going to stop him/her.... I dont think so.

When you are sending in single coins I agree, but when you send in 30 the $2 matters and it does cause less coins to be sent in. Any "shot" coins will be discarded.
