    That is nice!! I have noticed that there are many US half dollar commemoratives with nifty ships on them - but the prices of most are way out there.

    One of the nicest is the Columbian Half from 1892 and 1893 that can be had in circulated grdes for under $20.00 image The Long Island is pretty inexpensive as well image

    Thanks Dan - I have seen a few in pretty good condition for about that - maybe I'll have to keep my eyes open.

    One of the nicest is the Columbian Half from 1892 and 1893 that can be had in circulated grdes for under $20.00 The Long Island is pretty inexpensive as well ---the only one I have in my Fleet is Columbian halve. BTW, another "Columbian halve" image from 1991, if I'm not mistaken, also seems to be relatively unexpensive, but I never saw any offer, unless its big mintage.

    I'm working on scanning them right now (recently got home from work). I'll include a few Canadian ones so it's "World Coin" related. It'll take me a
    little while, but I'll post them as soon as I can! image
