New Purchase from the Lemont Ill show. Maybe 15 dealers.
Nice pre-graded 64 Kennedy. PCGS just missed a minor aspect...ACCENTED HAIR. OK so it was graded before they started recognizing the variety. I had to coax the dealer down to $17.
Scans are terrible, but the coin grades 66CAM, and should be (and will be) in a 67 CAM Accented Hair holder in a few weeks.

It's more likely it was submitted with the incorrect coin number of 6800 instead of 6801. If one does that with an Accented Hair, it'll end up in a regular holder. The opposite is also true. I deliberately sent this regular in noted as an AH:
Sure enough, they designated it!

Why didn't that make a DCam or at lease a Cam?

I think he was clueless...I know he was.
He had two 64 halves in PCGS PF66CAM and was wondering why I had no interest in the other one. He wanted $17 for it, but I thought the accented hair was a little better buy.
Always fun cherry picking. That's why we are out there looking.
