It's 2005 and the coin budget has been replenished, so ...

What are the first numismatic items you intend to acquire in this new year?

I'm going after a choice Gothic Florin in EF or better,
Then a nice 1927 GB Specimen Set.

What about you???

Good choice. Nice sets are getting more difficult to find.

I will be going to a show somewhere besides Minnesota this year. Someplace where British coins might actually be available!!

My main goals will, as last year, be focused on farthing, halfpenny, 3d, 6d and shilling, but I won't pass on any good minor.

I'd really like to get my hands on a good 1893 proof set, but that's probably a fantasy at this time.

I do plan to do some "damage" at the Heritage auction. Compete with me at your peril!imageimage

I've been put on a coin allowance. So if I want to make a really big purchase I'll have to save me penniesimage
