what is with this morgan

in U.S. Coin Forum
Armed with my vam book and new microscope decided to have some fun with my coins (certified and raw). I found this 1880 P with what looks like either a severe crack around liberty or what I believe is part of another coin imbedded on to it. Still working on my photo capabilities but have included pics to see if anyone can tell me what is going on. All help is appreciated.
