I personally like the polls here. I should--I start more than my fair share! For me, it is an excellent way to quickly learn how fellow collectors view issues that interest me, and I learn a lot from them. I also like the guess-the-grade polls (like Baley's current ones). It allows someone like me to take a chance and commit myself to a grade without making a complete fool of myself.

This being one.
I don't care for polls. You really don't learn anything usefull. The guess the grades ... If you don't know send it to PGCS, Accugrade or SEGS and find out. I do read and find a poll on whether so & so should stay on the boards or be banned to the perpetual dark side funny. Case in point: This poll and my response ... Idiotic ..

I was talking about polls, not trolls.
Russ,
You are correct. I am not even sure if this will be my last poll of 2004.
Barry,
Sorry. Sometimes I want people to commit.
Everyone,
So far, polls are winning 88% to 12%.

It seems more of the lurkers (like me) respond and you get a more diversified opinion.
If you just through a question out there, it seems to be the same people always responding (not necessarily a bad thing).

Will do, Reece. A poll a day--until the mobs lynch me.
