Do you know of an online sports book ? USC-OU lock

Does anyone know of a legitimate online sports book out of Vegas that
is legitimate ? Perhaps one that you've used.

I haven't bet on a sporting event in 25 years, but there
is easy money on January 4th.

thanks

I'm quite reluctant to assist you in this Jesus-angering endeavor, but I used to use my friend's mysportsbook.com account to make a wager here and there. I'm sure there's tons of other options out there to meet your avaricious needs.

  • Thanks Steve,

Last time a Heismann trophy winning quarterback went into
a championship game was when my team got pasted by Miami,Fla.

I knew we had no chance of winning unless Eric Crouch pulled
off a miracle. We just didn't have the depth to stay with Miami.
Miami made things horrible off the get-go, and Crouch never had a chance.

USC is in that same situation. They have a GREAT quarterback and back.
Other then that, they are VERY AVERAGE.

Oklahoma has guys on the punt coverage team that could be starting in
    Cals or USC's starting lineup.

  • Steve,

    Avaricious- VERY IMPRESSIVE !!!

You are attempting to gain Vargha like status with your vocabulary use.

I also see that you have added the Gunners to your list of team logos.
I'm a Bayern Munich fan, have been since the days of Beckenbauer, Gerd Mueller,
Ruminegge, Zepp Maier, and many others. I have lots of tapes of their games.

I used to like Arsenal back in the day when I liked Notts Forrest with
Peter Shilton and Trevor Francis. That may have been before your time.
    I think this was 1977.

My favorite soccer tapes are some of the Dutch games I have from 1974-1978.
I've never seen better soccer then I saw from the Dutch when they lost
to Germany 2-1 in Munich. Some of those games were incredible. I have a
4-0 game against Argentina when Argentina's time of possession may
have been 20 minutes out of the 90. Johann Cruyff was absolutely sick.
  • I believe Pinnacle is the best. They have the best odds. OU has gone from +4.5, which was the "early line" to +3 to +2.5 to +2 after that pathetic Cal showing.

seriously though, i wouldn't bet the farm on OU. everyone is saying USC is so overrated, and i'm really not sure why.

Pac 10 conference was weak? well look at the Big 12 North- it was a joke this year.
USC barely beat a few teams? well so did OU- look at their rivalry games (OSU, Aggy), they squeaked by in both games, relying on a dropped pass to the endzone and a missed FG (by one of my friends Jason Ricks, no less). they managed 12 points against my Horns, and USC is about as fast on defense as UT

don't hold the Pac 10 against USC. a good football team is a good football team, regardless of their competition
  • i got USC-2, and had pickeed them pre-season to win the Nat Champ at 9-1 odds. image
  • as far as i kno there cant be an online sports book out of vegas since in most states sports gambling isnt legal. that would be why most sportsbooks and online casinos are from out of country

Yeah, I used to prefer the Bundesliga when I was a kid, but that was mainly because Soccer Made in Germany was all that was on TV here. ('77 predates my sports fanhood by about four or five years, I'd say.) I think the English game is the most exciting nowadays, plus Fox Sports World shows plenty of Premiership games, though I missed the live match this morning. Actually, I'm not sure if one was even on today, but I think Man U. is on live later today.

As for the Orange Bowl, I'm not supremely confident in USC - if for no other reason than the freakin' beatdown Cal took at the hands of Texas Tech. Still, I don't think one can read all that much into that game. I also think the non-Heisman finalists on USC are better than simply average. LenDale White is no slouch at RB and there are some solid players on a pretty good defense: Cody, Patterson, Bing. Not to mention one of my personal favorites, Matt Grootegoed, who I'm hoping will be the Zach Thomas of the '05 draft. Should be an interesting game.

  • wlf3, 9-1 – are you serious?! That’s killer odds, I believe they were posted at 7-2 before the season started and I believe OU was about 7-1.

I certainly wouldn’t call OU a lock in this game. I remember last year many people took OU –6 over LSU and look how far that got them image Honestly, the only “lock” was Utah and you needed to lay about 2-11 odds on them winning straight up. Will had a point about OU squeaking by in a few, and A&M got pounded today. Personally, about 2/3’s of all my plays are “in-game” being either 2nd half or quarters, I feel that it’s easier this way since you can get a feel for how things are going.

    Brian,

I agree that UTAH was a lock.
Pittsburgh came on a bit during the season, but
my goodness they lost to Nebraska at home to open the season.

OU was a big play last year against LSU because of the success
    Oklahoma had the year before.

I believe that USC is getting poll votes on their coat tails
from last year as well as a conference that is WAY OVER RATED.

I see the only way USC stays close is if they have success with the
deep ball against single coverage. If this fails them, then they have
limited success in all other offensive areas. OU's defense shut out
a VERY GOOD Vince Young and Cedric Benson of Texas. Texas scored no points against OU. Reggie
Bush can not do much better then these two. USC's offensive line will get exposed as
well in the pass protection once the running game is shut down.
OU has the ability to put one linebacker on Bush and free others up to blitz.

I also am totally confident that OU's offense is as good as Cal's.
Jason White is a Heismann trophy winner and has good receivers.
They may move the ball at will against USC's defense.

A lock... hehe... it's kinda funny hearing that... how many "locks" have been knocked out by the spread (or flat out just lost) games this season and in every single season prior? Gambling on professional sports gave me so much aggravation that I didn't even enjoy the games... now I just stick to the occasional evening at a horse track, or jai alai when in Miami.

Midway in the 2nd quarter its USC 28-7 !!!

Will the Sooners blast off 22 unanswered points to "lock" up the game ????

This aint no party,... this aint no disco,.. this aint no fooling around.
  • I got lucky - most of my plays are "in-game" and I decided that whoever scored the first TD I'd take the other team as this should be close. OU scored first so I took USC at 9-5 odds.
