1921-D VAM-1AT Morgan Dollar

I mentioned in an earlier thread that I thought I spotted a 21-D VAM-1AT on the internet. I bought it for $17 and it came today. It is!!!!!
It was sold as AU55, but I'd like to know what you folks think. There's a small scuff over the A in DOLLAR. The rest looks nice. Grade? Value? Comments?

    Looks at least AU55.
    When in doubt, don't.

That's a "Jet O", Vam-1AT discovered earlier this year by Rob Joyce. Leroy Van Allen called it an "awesome die break" in his letter back to Rob. Rob's coin graded MS62. My "Jet O" is AU staple scratched on the reverse.

Yours is the third known specimen. That is a tremendous find.

P.S. Still waiting on #4 from the recent eBay auction.

Good eye on Ebay, Looks 55-58 ish depending on if the scratch is minor at top obverse (ie. might net grade)..Tough Vam to find!!!image

Thanks to all of you. That's good news. Now what should I do with it? I just started collecting this year, have only been buying raw coins, don't belong to any group (ANA), and have never had a coin graded or authenticated. Should I get this put in a slab? All I did was remove it from the stapled 2x2 and put it in an airtite holder.
