Can you submit proof sets in the case for grading?

Will PCGS crack the coins out of the proof holder (like a 1984 style holder)? Seems like they have a system to crack out slabs so they could crack open cases. The chance of getting a coin scratched is less with them cracking a case than me doing it. Also, the proof case provides protection during shipment.

Yes, they'll take them in the holder, but they dont like getting many of them.

Yes you can. All coins have to be graded though...no picking and choosing.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Question: With all these recent "simplifications", is PCGS maintaining the yes-you-may-submit-proof-sets-in-their-cases service?

At one point I submitted 100 sets in mint packaging.

I would say they have no problem.
