Can you submit proof sets in the case for grading?

Will PCGS crack the coins out of the proof holder (like a 1984 style holder)? Seems like they have a system to crack out slabs so they could crack open cases. The chance of getting a coin scratched is less with them cracking a case than me doing it. Also, the proof case provides protection during shipment.
