This house was erected in 1652. House is being bombed and is burning. Inscription reads “ The Leibniz House in Hannover a victum of British-American terror.”

Reverse shows bombers approaching the City gate from the clouds with the date 1944.

On March 22, 1944 the R.A.F. flew a night raid dropping 3000 tons of bombs

He is amazing. There is a caricature of Roosevelt in the clouds. The more I see of this artists work, the more I appreciate his talent. Thanks for sharing

The right wing on the center airplane is his mustache, the swirls in the clouds, his eyes. The left eye even has a monocle. The two smaller planes are clutched in his hands, ready to throw. Cool huh. See him now?

He worked right up to his death in 1950...with the help of his son Guido that is.

Hmm. Chamberlain was also dead by then. He died in 1940. I don't see the caricature, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a hidden caricature of somebody there. I just can't make it out.
