1831 Half-Dime It's LM-1, and I believe it to be LM-1.1, which Logan and McCloskey describe as being 'Exceedingly Rare'

Beat-Up 1829 Half-Dime Either it's an R5... or an R1... image Need it in hand to verify for sure...

    1798 Large Cent in VG-7
  • NADA received

Sold a PCGS graded Morgan and a PCGS Ike to a fellow worker who couldn't figure out what to get her father for Chritmas.

She liked the coins so much that I gave her a birth year proof set for Christmas, now she wants to see any coins I have for sale.

And thus a new Numismatist is born.

I got a 1900-O Morgan and a 1925 Peace. They look like MS64s, maybe better. Also a circulated 1900 Barber quarter (Fine).
I know the dollars were purchased for me from Coast to Coast coins. They only list coins as "Select Uncirculated" and "Gem Uncircuated". Mine are "Gem Uncirculated". It will be interesting to see how they grade if I decide to submit them to PCGS.

  • Well, the family didn't get me anything, but a little before christmas I bought myself this nice Gold Half-Eagle.

    image

Back in the year 2000, my parents bought me a Proof Silver Eagle, a 1/10th oz. Proof Platinum Eagle, and a 1/4 oz. Proof Gold Eagle. I was shocked to get those coins, but am happy that I did because they are downright gorgeous. (If ever I come upon a large amount of money, I'd love to have complete series of each of those three bullion coins).
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.
  • My present to me, and my first picture post
