RESULTS IN: 1896 P VAM Help? Can't find it in the book.

As mentioned on another post, I bought a paper wrapped role of 1896 P Morgans recently. All of them are mint state, most are banged up quite a bit.
I stuck one of the coins under my Christmas gift microscope and I noted doubled stars. All of the stars are doubled strongly. I opened up my handy Van Allen and Mallis and can't find this particular coin. The closest is VAM 4 with doubled stars, doubled 6 in the date.
My coin has strongly doubled stars and doubling on the top of the letters UNUM. No doubling anywhere else. The stars are strongly doubled.
Here are some images taken through the microscope. Any suggestions?
By the way, more than one of the coins from the roll exhibit this very strong doubling.

It does look like a low date to me. Is the 1 close to Liberty's neck? Is there any doubling in the ear?
The star doubling is very strong across all obverse stars. A very interesting and attractive error, in my opinion.
Thanks for taking the time to help me with this one. I've got 17 of the things out of one roll and they are consistent. The date diagnostic for 1896 P VAMs just do not seem to fit this coin.

The eyelid is doubled. There are no 1896 P VAMs listed with eyelid doubling.
Hours of studying the date of a number of the coins convince me there is not a doubled date. The 6 does have extra metal in the left inside lower loop however it does not appear to be doubled.
The star doubling is very strong and consistent. VAM 4's description and photos in the VAM book show strong doubling on stars 1 & 2, left and right. My coin shows that level of doubling on all 13 starts.
The date is very low and shifted quite significantly left, as in the VAM 4
Cotton bolls have die polishing lines in the stalks, as do all the letters in LIBERTY.
So, it would be nice to have bought a roll of mint state Top 100 VAMs but doesn't look like it is so. This coin looks mor einteresting that the VAM 4, 5 or 6 but them's the breaks it would be nice to have a new VAM discovery coin if that is the case. Leroy Van Allen has graciouslly offered to review the coin and it has been sent I will update this thread when the results are in.

I'm wondering if anyone needs an 1896 VAM 4 for a Top 100 set? Got to many of the things now. LOL
