Recieved in todays mail. Am I wrong in thinking its a little over graded. Looks like to much rub on the hair for EF45 to me.

What you are seeing in the hair is a weak strike, which this issue is notorious for. You have to grade these by the eagle's right wing, and this is clearly a 45 in my opinion.

I'd guess that's more a case of typical "O" weak strike than too much circulation "rub". It must have a lot of luster left under the silver toning to put in an XF holder- and it's probably OK.

Over graded, maybe. There's still seperation of the hair above the ear and the ear. The wing tips don't show much wear either. Soft strike and a little wear and they look like they been around the block. Nice clean Morgan IMO.
