Texas P die crack?

After seeing sammydabull's thread on the possibly doubled Texas state quarter, I got curious and searched through a bunch from a bank wrapped roll I had and this coin caught my eye. It is definately a raised line. What do you think?

Edited to add: While looking through the rest of the bunch, I found another one with the exact same characteristic! image

Edited again to add: On a side note, both coins have a distinct dimple above the 'e' in 'The'.

Congrats on finding the coins with cracks. They look cool, but the ones with the extra value are the proof coins.

  • Can't tell from the first picture if it is a die crack or a die scratch.

I was thinking the same thing. It might not be a crack but rather a light gouge or scratch in the die. Also because it ends before the rim.
I might be wrong but given the location of the mark I would think if it were a crack it would extend all the way to the rim.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
