Question About The Hugon Barber Collection...

I see many coins pedigreed to The Dr. Thaine B. Price Collection (David Akers, May 1998). Is anyone familiar with this Collection/Sale and where he (Price) acquired his Barbers from???

    Steve,

    Thane Price collected Barber Halves and gold and was aided by David Akers. His barber half set was the best set ever put together up to that time and served as a major source of coins for Mr. John Hugon and for Dr. Steve Duckor. I have two of his coins in my set as well.
