First generation PCGS holder, MS64. Definitely a 65 in my opinion. The fields a luster are as good as they come. Not worth the regrade though.

Those aren't dings. Those are in the holder to keep the coin from moving around. That should give a hint as to what generation the holder is.

Yes I know what those are, I am not refering to those.
Look at the obverse rim at about K1 to K2. Look at the reverse rim at K7.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Sorry. I see them. They are tiny, and greatly enhanced by the photo. I actually didn't see them until I took the picture.

Edited to add: When grading coins, start at 70 and go backwards from there. Ask yourself what about this coin causes you to knock off 5 or 6 points? A few tiny imperfections which have been greatly magnified shouldn't account for that many grade deductions.
I would say the coin is an MS66, but since it is in a rattler holder, i'll stick to my MS65 on the label.

I don't think the price difference between a 64 and 65 justifies the grading fee. I may send it in on a freebie though. It's a definite 65, probably high end, but I don't think it will make 66.
