Storing copper

I need some advice on storing copper coins. They are more common datess but I would like to know the best way to preserve them. Are Dansco albums acceptable?

Intercept 2x2's are the best way I've found to store them. Danscos are ok, but they are not good for long term storage of high end MS copper.

    Hedger,
What LincolnCentMan is referring to are Intercept Shield holders. Their long term viability for coins is yet to be proven, but I've used them for my slabs for nearly two years now and have no complaints.

    That's the way to go.
I put mine in air-tites in the intercept double protection series.

  • Thanks for the repllies. I have two Intercept Shield boxes but no air tites. I'll have to get some of those. Thanks again.

Whitman plastic holders. I'm seriously considering storing my enitire set including my red early dates like this... Copper in albums can easily tone and develop spots...

  • Common dates, huh?
Put em in a glass canning jar. Tighten the top good.
