    All the D mintmarks for 1921 were that size.

    Could have been soldered into a belt buckle or something.

    I'm with TD on the net grading for cleaning and scratches. And the damage on the rim looks post mint to me. But those are some really cool breaks!! Even with all the problems, I really like this coinimage

    Nice VAM-1F...with several small die breaks on the reverse. I found the latest die state known about 2 months ago..small rim cuds under the '1' of the date forming into the field. Your coin has been played with though, sorry.
