I found this really nice 1884-cc. I have lost some of the frost in the photo. Still learning the ropes. What do you think? WHat do you think it might grade at PCGS?

MS-65PL? Very nice looking coin. Though I should add that I'm not too proficient at grading prooflikes, so it's probably a little lower!

I heard in this forum that it is very difficult to get DMPL designation from PCGS these days, if so do you think this one has a shot?

Is it me...or does the frost of the devices on the reverse look a little weird?

There are breaks in the frost on the eagles wings...........

This reverse (absense of breast feathers) is very prominent on a considerable amount of the 1884-CC Dmpls known. Have very deep mirrors, and exceptional cameo devices.

Well, it is leaving in a package today for PCGS along with 3 other Morgan dollars. When I signed up for COllectors club I purchased the upgrade option so I have a certifcate for a free upgrade to the next level of service. Its great to pay economy rates for regular service.
