Couple of coin photo questions

I have a copy stand which can house up to four 75 watt bulbs.

a. What bulb wattage and bulb manufacturer would you recommend?

b. What color background works best for slabs? raw coins?

I currently use either 60w Sylvania "daylight" or GE Reveal bulbs. As far as background color I
use a blue one for PCGS slabs and a black background for raw coins.

I use four 60w Reveal bulbs. As far as the background, for your white balance to work correctly, it should be gray. If you are using the Testrite CS3 stand, the baseboard is already gray.

Thanks, I am off to Home Depot to purchase some reveal bulbs. Will use the grey background of the CS3.
