After much playing around, I think I finally managed to get the colors on my liberty nickel:
This is pretty close -- the colors are more vibrant on the reverse than the picture shows, but to get the colors to come out, you need to shine a light right on the coin, which makes it impossible to take the picture. Toned coins are tough to photograph!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Well, it looks sort of copper colored on my computer. But the detail is amazing, beautiful coin.
Just a suggestion, but if you are using a reveal bulb, try putting a handkerchief over the light to diffuse it. You can put the light closer without the glare. Don't leave the handkerchief on too long, though, cause it gets hot and might catch on fire.

If you have Photoshop, Adobe Gamma comes with it. If not, do a Google search on monitor calibration and there are some web sites with online tools.
