Have You Ever Actually Seen A 1975 No S Proof Dime?

Like many others, in 30+ years of collecting, I've seen a lot of very rare coins. For example, I've seen all five '13 V-nickels, and held one; I've seen 4 or 5 of the 15 1804 dollars, including one example of each of the 3 types, and held the one (actually the whole set) in the King of Siam set, etc., but I've never seen one of the no-S '75 proof dimes. Have you? I looked in the PCGS pops, and they haven't slabbed anyimage

  • I saw the discovery coin when it came into Coin World (yes, I've been here that long). I've not seen another example since.

Thanks for giving me an idea for a future feature article.

No, I've never been able to get my hands on any of the famous no-S proofs.
