Westford Ma. Coin Show report

I didn't have any high expectations for this show, being the day after Christmas, but I spoke with a few dealers during the week, and they each mentioned that the show will probably be busy.
They were right, I was wrong. It was busy. There were less people walking the floor, meaning the room didn't seem overly crowded, but the people doing the walking were doing the buying/selling. I had a great show, and was even able to walk away with some very nice coins that I found during the day.
Saw some of the regular, or semi-regular attendees like Toneddollars, Tonelover and met up with granddad once again.
Everyone still seems very optimistic that the market will maintain current levels and that the "special" coins will keep bumping higher. FUN seemed to be on everyone's mind, and a lot of dealers were either buying or selling depending on what their gameplan was for FUN.
There was a 1pm drawing for some special "prizes", and you had to be in attendance to win, so it was a touch comical when at 12/45, 100+ people wandered into the bourse waiting for the drawing. They all headed for the exits at approximately 1:10 after the drawing, and most dealers packed up early on this Sunday.
I saw that a few people found some decent coins, and were happy with their belated holiday presents.
If I think of anything else, I'll toss it in later on.

I had a great show -- picked up 4 new coins!! -- from the same guy I had bought 1 the prior week in Nashua.
It did seem like there was some wheelin' and dealin' going on -- optimism seemed still a bit too high (which might spell near-term trouble)

Ah, so you were holding out on me eh?
Have a Great Day!

I think you saw a couple of those "newps"
I should have mentioned the snow. We were supposed to get a "dusting" to a couple of inches, but the weather report changed dramatically later on in the day. Most areas received a foot of snow by Monday morning.
