    I don't have any idea about the price.

    I just found it kind of interesting. I also have no idea why the would embedd a piece of metor in a coin.

    All coin prices are generally high here (or listed high).

    This is the only dealer on the west coast of Norway. He has some interesting coins and will do some fair deals on older coins but not these "promotional" coins.

    I have several I have bought from him but it is a typical shop where you need to be known and go and have a talk about it.

    I guess if you like unusual and limited issue (999 minted) coins it might be worth $200.

    I don't much go for that sort of thing and personally would not pay that price.

    To quote my grand-daughter... "icky". Not for me either. A silver coin with a chuck of iron pyrite just doesn't work for me.

    My Middle daughter Bethany told me I out to carve out a "roman coin" in black opal. I told her to pick a pattern coin out of my collection and I'd make her one. A fun project for the new year already. image

    I have sold several of them in my auctions, at prices ranging from $150.00 to $225.00. The coins were minted with particles from a meteorite that landed in Morocco in 2000, and is an NCLT that has never seen Liberian soil. image I have eight more coming in, so if someone absolutely HAS to have one, you can PM me. image
