Why would a disclosed consignor not want his name on the auction?

I noticed that the Kennywood auction by ANR disclosed the name of the consignor (the consignor actually wrote a page or so on his collecting history, background, etc.). Personally, if I was a consignor to a major auction (and especially if I am writing a little blurb about myself), I would definitely want my name on the collection (such as ANR's presentation of the "John Smith Collection"). Who else here would disclose their identity, take the time to write a personal history to be included in the catalog, and then have the collection known by a generic name? I don't think I would.
