What sports goodies did u get for X-Mas?

What did everyone get on Christmas morning/day?
Any highlights on sports related material?

I didn't get any cards, but my wife gave me
an NHL New Jersey Devils CCM Martin Brodeur Home Jersey.
I freaked! That made my morning. Then went over to
my best friend's house for dinner and to exchange gifts.
Received an NHL Detroit Red Wings CCM Steve Yzerman Away Jersey. I couldn't believe it. Overall, it was a wonderful day with friends and family. Hope everyone had a good one too. image

    Here's the seller that sold the cards to my brother to give to me... ( they are DVD Promo cards from the movie)

    Aw, where'd you get those Kill Bill cards? That's awesome. I think that Tarantino's oeuvre would make for some great sets. And a CCG or Heroclix-style game, too. Vincent and Jules in a 1974 Chevy Nova with shotguns versus Butch, Clarence, and Mr. Pink with .357s in a stolen cop car, in 818.

    The wife gave me a Thurman Munson Rooke, unfortuately graded by CTA. Looks good though. Also got an official Majestic Angels Home Jersey with who else #27 AL MVP Vlad Guerrero. Also got the Stephen King Book about the 2004 Red Sox. Not a Red Sox fan, but a baseball fan. It should fetch a premium on EBAY after I read it.

    Mike, not game used. Official NHL jerseys that you can purchase from NHL.com,
    arena venues, or sporting stores I guess. Something I wouldn't buy for myself
    due to the high price tag.

    My brother in law surprised the hell out of me by giving me an autographed football. He attended a luncheon in Atlanta and got Michael Vick to autograph an minature football. Of course autograph is pretty much illegible except for the the part that says 'To Jay.' I don't collect autographs, but that was pretty cool.

    My mother surprised me with a Sammy Sosa jersey card #/50. OK, so it came from a NPN and she had been holding it for a couple days since it arrived shortly before Christmas.

    I also got a few sports books, and two autographed 8x10s that I had picked out for myself months ago.

    The rest of the sports-related gifts were things I gave myself.

    I also got myself a 1962 Fran Tarketon rookie in PSA 7. Hopefully it will show up tomorrow in the mailbox or as I like to call it 'Santa's Bag"imageimageimage

    My wife came through with some decent goodies.....

    A 2005 Standard Catalog (replaces my 1997 version)

    A 100 count box of Ultra Pro 9 pocket pages (you can never have enough of those)

    A display "frame" type thing that holds a number of sportscards in the single locktite type cases. More of a kid/fan type thing but cute and I'm sure I can put it to use.

    A small home/office postage scale so that I can figure postage on cards that I'm trading or selling on "da bay"

    A new keyboard since I've burned out 2 others this year typing in forums such as this!
