PCGS and NGC are very strict on the 50's Jeffersons. if i knew what the requirement was to make the leap from CAM to DCAM i would hold it in a very secure vault!!!
i had a pair of NGC 1955's in PR68CAM, sold the lesser and sent the winner for crossover-----denied. cracked and submitted raw to PCGS-----PR67CAM. a few months ago i won a PCGS PR66DCAM at eBay and can't see the difference in the two regarding contrast. i'll save them both and hopefully i can be at a show where HRH can explain the nuances of the designations to me.
they seem consistent as badger posted. we've done the comparisons with coins at the CNS Meeting and we both have our "hose" stories besides this date. one of my fantasy trips is to sneak into the PCGS facility for a quick peak at the Jefferson CAM/DCAM grading set.

i think PCGS needs less from a coin to be a DCAM then they do for it not to be a CAM.
to be a non-Cameo
=----the coin simply needs to be.
to be a Cameo
============----the coin needs to have mirrored fields and unbroken frost, no matter how faint.
to not be a Cameo
===============================----i cannot explain the nature of this characteristic, but i know it exists.
to be a Deep Cameo
=================----the coin must have mirrored fields with no blemishes and heavy frost with no breaks.
it might not make sense to you, but it does to me.

Sorry for the quality of the pics - I was in a bit of a hurry.
I agree with Keets' assessment of what it takes to be cam or dcam.
I hope the links to the pics work - only the second time I have tried it.

I tried to fix the link but it still does not seem to be working.
Here is a link for where the photos are located. Maybe one of the more astute members can fix the links. (I would appreciate a PM of what I did wrong).
