<< <i>have no idea what is a beckett auction >>
there online auction site on beckett .com
I don't like buying/selling via the Beckett website. I have had too many problems with immature buyers and sellers...
I have finally tossed all of my beckett graded swag... One thing I noticed when I was eBaying the beckett stuff was a high degree of buyer questions regarding subgrades and a high incidence of questions that were already well clarified in the description. I also received a lot of emails criticizing me for sending everything priority mail for $3.85... from bgs buyers etc...
I know stereotyping isn't in the holiday spirit... but I am so happy that I have no more beckett stuff to sell.... the buyers and bidders largely seemed to be immature and annoying compared to psa loyalists and others.
I was also extremely disappointed in the activity on bgs graded cards. I found there to be little faith among the bgs crowd when it came to bidding on or bidding up relatively low pop vintage cards.

But, judging from ebay, BGS graded cards seem to generate more bidding wars.
Anything Beckett (BGS, BVG, whatever) tends to be popular with the audience that is brainwashed by their magazines. Simple as that.
Instead, I got of questions about the subgrades, condition of the encapsulation and if I'd discount it if it didn't sell...
I guess bgs is a bit more popular with modern cards... which I do not buy or follow.
It never bothered me that they have a magazine and grading service.. it just bothered me that their grading was so poor... and that they complicated rather than enhanced their services by introducing bvg bccg etc etc etc etc
