Here is an upgrade to my current K-147 Red Cross War Dogs, 1914, Cast AE, 105mm. Deep, dark brown patented Goetz patina!
It's hard to believe when holding this piece that it is 90 years old. I acquired it from a lady in Germany whose grandfather had bought it when first produced by Goetz during WWI. It has been in the family this long and she sold it because there was no one to hand it down to in the family. Sad in some respects... Obviously this piece had been well cared for during it's life. The images do not do it justice.
